Speaking Engagments

Indigo is an academic, writer, community volunteer and
an emerging film events and cultural productions facilitator who is available as a speaker on Asian Australian cross-cultural issues, community engagement through the arts (such as the Asian Australian Film Forum and Network),  on transnational and transracial adoption (including the Adopted Vietnamese International - AVI network) and related issues of diversity and migration.

She has experience speaking at events for a range of occasions, including for government, non-government and community groups' training sessions and information days.
She has also featured as an invited speaker at numerous universities, The McDonald College School of Performing Arts Speech Night in Sydney, and for Vietnamese community events (fluency is in English only).

The covering of travel and accommodation costs is greatly appreciated, with additional money from speaker honorariums usually directed towards covering the running of AVI and TAF (eg. basic website and associated events costs) as well as making part donations to projects focused on single mothers' support (Korea), on children residing in Vietnamese orphanages and on Vietnamese adoptees search for surviving birth relatives.  This includes donations to TRACK, the Vietnam Volunteer Network's work with the Go Vap Orphanage and Operation Reunite's DNA project.
